Spore and Stem Shroomery started at our kitchen table after deciding to give something of our own a go.What started as a YouTube deep dive turned into growing grey oyster mushrooms at home, learning through a lot of trial and error along the way.It’s very much a family effort, with the kids helping out with the day to day and turning our used substrate into garden mulch to keep things low waste.Mushrooms were originally James’ idea, and he’s usually the one you’ll see, while I stay happily behind the scenes, where it’s quieter and there are fewer cameras.Nothing fancy - just fresh mushrooms, grown by a family building something to call our own.That means fresh mushrooms, grown in small batches and picked at their best, ready for you to enjoy at home.
